The kids went Trick-or-Treating at the mall tonight. They also participated in the costume contest. Bradley won for scariest costume in his age category. Matthew was exhausted but they all had a good time.

We went to the Applefest in Vermont yesterday. Everyone had a good time. The trees were beautiful and the weather was great.

We went to Six Flags on Sunday. Everyone had a good time. Matthew was a little frightened of some of the scary monsters walking around the park. He did like the tall pumpkin head monster and had his picture taken with him.

All three boys were very well behaved at Matthew's benefit dinner at the Elks Club. Bradley didn't stay the entire time. He went to a local high school football game with his cousins. Steven had a good time talking and playing with his cousin Courtney and his friend Megan. Matthew was just having a blast visiting with all of his friends and family. He was so surprised to see so many people he knew. Thanks to everyone who has helped us out. It means a lot to us.

I took some pictures of the boys tonight in our back yard. We didn't stay out there for very long. The bugs we all over us. With all of the rain that we have had this summer the mosquitoes are horrible! I can't believe that they are still out. I'll try to take some more pictures later this week. Hopefully the bugs won't be as bad.

We had a pretty big visitor in our back yard last night. This cute deer was just having a snack. The picture isn't the best because I didn't want to get too close and scare it away.

First day of School

It was "Back to School Day" for the Cech boys! Bradley started 7th grade, Steven is in 4th grade and Matthew started preschool. Everyone had a good first day. Steven also got braces yesterday. His mouth is a bit sore.

MDA Telethon

We went to Vermont today for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Terry, Bradley and Matthew appeared live for an interview. The interview wasn't as long as we expected it to be because the emcee didn't have a copy of the interview questions. It still went very well and the kids had a fun time . Steven and I didn't appear on TV. We were a bit too nervous with the whole "LIVE" thing.

Yesterday was Terry's 39 th Birthday! We had a small party for him . Matthew enjoyed helping Terry blow out his candles.

Matthew had several appointments in Boston last week. Bradley and Steven were very well behaved even though they had to sit through two full days of appointments. We managed to fit some fun things in while we were there. We went to the Children's Museum on Friday evening. It's only $1 admission on Friday's . We also went to Six Flags New England for a little while. We had free passes to the park.



Matthew wanted to ride in the big red car with his brothers. Steven wasn't too thrilled to be on it as you can tell from the look on his face.

We went blueberry picking today at a local orchard. The boys enjoyed picking the blueberries . I think that I found an outdoor activity that Matthew enjoys. His sugar was pretty high when we got back home. I think that he ate more than he picked. Bradley and Steven each pick a quart and Matthew picked about a pint or so.

Our friend Mandi came over today with her kids. We had a little break in the weather so they all went in the pool. Starting from the left is Matthew, Nate, Ben, Jorden, Steven and Dominick. Bradley didn't want to be in the picture but you can see his legs in the background. It started to rain about an hour later and it's been raining the rest of the day.
